New arrest over Mater Hospital, Belfast, pellet gun attack

A 23-year-old man has been arrested over a pellet gun attack in north Belfast at the weekend.

On Saturday, an 85-year-old woman was struck in the head with a pellet outside the Mater Hospital.

Earlier, a 17-year-old boy arrested over the attack was released on police bail.

The pensioner had been getting out of a car on her way to visit a relative at the hospital when she was hit. She was hurt but not seriously injured.
