Greyabbey shopkeeper is threatened with gun

A shopkeeper has been treated in hospital for shock after she was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday night.

It happened at Main Street in Greyabbey at about 19:30 BST.

The woman was closing up her shop when two men - one armed with a gun - forced her back inside. They escaped with cash.

Police want anyone with information to contact CID in Newtownards on 0845 600 8000, or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

One of the robbers was described as being tall and was wearing a blue hooded top wrapped around his face, blue jeans, white trainers and green and yellow gloves.

The other man was wearing a red hooded top wrapped around his face, blue jeans, white trainers and green and yellow gloves.
