Man charged over cannabis factory in Lisburn

A man is to appear in court charged in connection with a cannabis factory discovered by police in County Antrim.

The 45-year-old was arrested at a house in the Ballymacoss area of Lisburn at about 03:00 BST on Wednesday.

He has been charged with cultivating cannabis and having Class B drugs with intent to supply. He is expected to appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court on 10 September.

A 22-year-old woman has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
