A "significant burst" in the mains water supply in Newtownabbey, County Antrim which had affected customers has now been found by NI Water staff.

The company said the burst has been "isolated" and the supply should be restored to all customers.

The areas affected on Friday morning included the Ballyearl Estate and properties in the BT36 postcode area.

NI Water said although the supply was back on, a few customers on higher ground may have reduced water pressure.
