Thief uses smashed bottle as threat in Belfast robbery

A thief used a smashed bottle to threaten staff during a robbery in west Belfast on Saturday.

He went into a fast food shop at Riverdale Park East at about 12:50 BST and used the broken glass to threaten staff.

He made off with money from the till. No-one was injured, but the workers were shaken by what happened.

Police have appealed for information.
