New Lodge man arrested over Danny McKay murder released

A 49-year-old man has been released unconditionally after being arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder of Danny McKay in Newtonabbey last month.

The man, from the New Lodge area of Belfast was released on Thursday evening.

Mr McKay, who was 36, was shot dead at his home on the Longlands Road last month.

At least two armed men were involved in the attack.
