Carnlough stabbing: Man charged with attempted murder

A 33-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Carnlough, County Antrim.

The attack happened in a caravan on Whitehill Road at about 05:25 GMT on Monday.

The victim sustained a stab wound to his abdomen and was taken to hospital. His injury is not believed to be life-threatening.

The 33-year-old is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.
