Dublin ambulance stolen as patient attended to

An ambulance was stolen as paramedics attended a patient at a housing estate in Dublin on Wednesday night.

The emergency vehicle was taken from the Corduff Grove in Blanchardstown, Dublin according to Dublin Fire Brigade.

The ambulance was taken just after 2000 GMT and was found abandoned in nearby Corduff Park minutes later by police.

A second ambulance was sent to the house, but the patient did not need hospital attention.
