East Belfast community centre creates 40 jobs

Forty new jobs have been created at a new £21m community centre in east Belfast since it opened a month ago.

The Skainos regeneration project on the Lower Newtownards Road, is to be officially opened later.

It was funded by European Peace money, the Department of Social Development and the International Fund for Ireland.

The building has a nursery, café, theatre group and conference centre.
