Two dead in crash between Magherafelt and Moneymore

Road traffic collision in County Londonderry Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them

Police have confirmed that a man and a teenage girl have been killed in a road traffic collision in County Londonderry.

The crash, which involved a car and a lorry, happened between Magherafelt and Moneymore on Thursday night.

The police have said the male driver of the car and his female passenger were killed.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision has now begun.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.
