US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has condemned this week's violence, sparked by the decision to stop flying the union flag every day at Belfast City Hall.

Mrs Clinton arrived in Northern Ireland, where she met Northern Ireland's first minister and deputy first minister at Stormont, as part of a four day trip to Europe.

Mark Simpson reports.
