Two dead as tanker and car collide in County Tyrone

Pomeroy car accident

Two people have been killed in a road accident in County Tyrone.

The accident, involving a tanker and a car, happened on the Termon Road between Pomeroy and Carrickmore shortly after midday on Saturday.

It is believed the victims were a man and a woman, although their names have not been released.

A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
