Police said they are concerned about a man who has gone missing from a nursing home in north Belfast.

Seventy-eight-year-old Harry Warwick was last seen at the Abingdon Manor Care Centre on the Crumlin Road on Wednesday.

Police have described the man as "vulnerable" and appealed for him to make contact with his family.

It is understood he was wearing an overcoat and dark slacks.

A spokesman for Abingdon Manor said: "Harry is a very fit and active man much loved by all staff and fellow residents. He is very outgoing and friendly but unfortunately does suffer from confusion.

"We have been working with the police and local community to try to find him from the moment he disappeared.

"Our sole concern is for Harry's safety. If you see him or know where he is please contact PSNI or ourselves immediately."
