Oil tanks destroyed in Cookstown arson attack

Three oil tanks located close to flats in Cookstown, County Tyrone, have been destroyed in an arson attack.

The fire and rescue service attended the blaze at Ratheen Avenue after the alarm was raised shortly before 06:30 GMT on Friday.

Three oil tanks were destroyed and there was fire damage to four flats and a house.

Police believe the fire was started maliciously and have appealed for information.
