A six-year-old girl is in a stable condition in hospital after being knocked down in Ballymena, County Antrim.

It happened in the Ballykeel Estate shortly before 18:00 GMT on Tuesday.

The child was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken by ambulance to Antrim Area Hospital.
