Inis Oirr people offered TB screening

All the inhabitants of a small island off the Irish coast are to be offered screening for tuberculosis.

There has been a confirmed case of the disease on Inis Oirr.

The risk of transmission is considered low but, as a precaution, all 250 islanders will be offered a test.

Inis Oirr is the smallest of the Aran Islands.
