Railway line between Lisburn and Belfast reopens

The railway line between Lisburn and Great Victoria Street in Belfast has reopened.

It was closed on Monday morning following the discovery of a suspicious object at Finaghy Halt in south Belfast.

It was later declared a hoax. Translink said Finaghy Halt remains closed.

The company said passengers could expect knock-on delays as a result of the alert.

Part of Finaghy Road North, which was closed close to Diamond Gardens, is expected to reopen shortly.
