NIE say 1,500 customers without power in Bangor, County Down

Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) has said 1,500 customers are without power in Bangor, County Down.

The company said properties in the centre of the town had been affected, including Abbey Street, Dufferin Avenue, Southwell Road, and Windsor Avenue.

The power went off on Wednesday evening.

A spokesman for Northern Ireland Electricity said engineers were working to restore power.
