Technology firm to create 71 jobs in Belfast
A US software company said it is creating 71 new jobs in Belfast over a period of up to three years.
Vello Systems has its headquarters in California and provides technology and networking to data centres.
Invest NI is providing a support grant to the company of just over £700,000.
The announcement has been a year in the making and was described as an "important and welcome boost" by the economy minister Arlene Foster.
Other European locations had been considered by the company.
About half the jobs will be software engineers, the others cover marketing and customer service.
Karl May from Vello said: "We decided to visit Belfast last year and were greatly impressed.
"Northern Ireland will provide us with a location close to target markets in Europe."
