Parochial house targeted by robbers in Newry, County Down

Two men, one armed with a gun, have robbed a parochial house in Newry, County Down.

They entered St Catherine's Dominican Priory in Dominic Street around 20:30 BST on Thursday, and threatened the five priests who were in the house, before making off with a sum of money.

Although they were not hurt, they were left very shaken by their ordeal.

Police have appealed for anyone with information on the robbery to contact them.
