There has been criticism of the staffing levels at the new Rowan Centre for sexual assault victims in Antrim.

The centre was officially opened earlier this week by the Duchess of Cornwall.

The charity Nexus and the Justice Committee at Stormont said the key support staff should already be in place.

However, the Department of Justice said funding for the service had yet to be secured.

The centre is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland.

It brings together all the services for dealing with victims of serious sexual assault.
