Belfast man stabbed in head and body in Iveagh Drive

A 23-year-old man is in a stable condition after receiving stab wounds to his head and body during an attack in Belfast's Iveagh Drive on Sunday.

A 23-year-old man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

A woman, aged 26, was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The PSNI said they had been released on police bail pending inquiries.
