Ballymoney couple fined £30,000 for planning offences

A County Antrim couple have been fined a total of £30,000 for planning offences.

Mr Wilson Gamble and Mrs Elizabeth Claire Gamble of Drumlee Road, Ballymoney, were charged with the unauthorised erection of a partially-constructed cattle shed and underground dirty water storage or slurry tank.

They were each fined £15,000 at Coleraine Magistrates Court.

They were found guilty of continued non-compliance with a DoE planning enforcement notice

Mr and Mrs Gamble were also made to pay a total of £500 legal costs and a total of £85 court costs.
