Two held as £618,000 of herbal cannabis seized in Antrim

Police have recovered more than £600,000 worth of herbal cannabis and arrested two men after stopping two cars in Antrim.

The men, aged 50 and 33, were driving the two cars. Police said the drugs had an estimated street value of £618,200.

The two men are being questioned on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

The arrests were made on Thursday afternoon.
