A woman has been arrested after drugs with an estimated value of £20,000 were found in Ballymena on Thursday night.

The drugs - believed to be amphetamine and cannabis - were found during the search of a house in the town's Ballykeel estate.

A 34-year-old woman is being questioned about the find.

PSNI Ballymena area commander, Chief Inspector John Magill, said he was "content that these drugs have been taken off our streets".
