Man injured in west Belfast shooting

A man has been shot in the leg in west Belfast.

The shooting happened at Creeslough Gardens at around 21:30 BST on Wednesday.

The man, who is in his 40s, has been taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

A police spokesman appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
