Londonderry arrest: Man charged with firearms offences

A man has been charged with a number of firearms offences.

The charges include possession of two military hand grenades in suspicious circumstances, possession of a sub-machine gun and two pistols in suspicious circumstances, possession of firearm magazines, and possession of a stun gun and CS gas spray.

The 27-year-old was arrested in Londonderry on Saturday.

He will appear in the city's magistrates' court on Monday.
