Trust review after Ulster hospital roof fall death
The South Eastern Health Trust is conducting an internal review of its procedures after a patient fell from the roof of the Ulster Hospital, in September, and died.
The 26-year-old man was a voluntary patient in the psychiatric ward.
It is not a secure unit and the man was able to leave the ward and make his way to a roof from which he fell.
It is understood a nurse followed him but was unable to help.
A police investigation is also under way.
In a statement to the BBC, a spokesperson for the South Eastern trust said a patient had died on the Ulster Hospital site on 16 September.
The statement said that, as with all serious incidents, an internal review is under way.
