Portadown assault: Three released on police bail

Three men arrested over an assault in Portadown in which a man was critically injured have been released on police bail.

The assault happened in West Street in the County Armagh town at about 02:30 GMT on Saturday.

The 23-year-old man who was attacked is now in a stable condition.

Three men, two aged 20 and one aged 21, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
