Further extension in Ravenhill, Belfast, murders inquiry
Police investigating a double murder in east Belfast have been granted another 36 hours to question a 32-year-old man.
He was arrested on Thursday. It is the second extension police have been given to question the man.
The bodies of Finbarr McGrillen, 42, and Caron Smyth, 40, were found by police investigating a suspected break-in at Ravenhill Court on 13 December.
A 33-year-old man appeared at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Thursday charged with their murders.
