A woman has been left shaken but uninjured after her car was hijacked in the Finaghy area of south Belfast.

The care worker was leaving the area when her Kia Sportage car became stuck in soft ground around 09:00 GMT on Sunday.

A man approached and helped her to free the car before he dragged her from it and drove off in the direction of the Lisburn Road.

The car was later found abandoned on the Andersonstown Road.
