Poleglass and Dungannon alerts hoaxes

Two security alerts in Belfast and Dungannon on Tuesday afternoon were hoaxes, police have said.

An army bomb disposal team was sent to examine a suspicious object on the outskirts of west Belfast.

It was found at Bell Steel Road in Poleglass on Tuesday afternoon. It was later declared an elaborate hoax.

Meanwhile, premises were evacuated at Market Square, Dungannon, County Tyrone. It was also declared a hoax.
