Traffic warden injured in Omagh hit-and-run

The police are investigating reports of a hit-and-run incident involving a traffic warden in County Tyrone.

It is believed a silver car struck the man outside a shop in High Street, Omagh, at 10:30 GMT on Friday.

He was not seriously injured. The car left the scene after the incident.

A 26-year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, common assault, failing to stop and failure to remain at the scene, has since been released on police bail.
