North Belfast: Two face charges over Antrim Road attack

Two men have been charged in connection with an assault in north Belfast that left a man in a critical condition in hospital.

Four men were attacked on the Antrim Road on Sunday. A 24-year-old suffered serious head injuries.

The other three men did not need hospital treatment.

Two men, aged 23 and 31, are due to appear at Belfast Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, assault, possession and intent to supply drugs and cultivating cannabis.

The 31-year-old man has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, possession and intent to supply drugs and cultivating cannabis.
