A man has been taken to hospital after he got stuck halfway up the outside of a lighthouse in County Down.

The 50-year-old man had been painting the St Johns Point lighthouse near Killough and was suspended about 50ft (15m) above the ground.

He was rescued by a specialist rescue team from the Fire and Rescue Service and the Ambulance Service.
