Waterworks Park: North Belfast security alert a hoax

Alert A section of the Waterworks Park was closed while the suspicious object was dealt with

A security alert in north Belfast has been declared a hoax.

Army bomb disposal experts carried out a controlled explosion on a suspicious object found in the Waterworks Park.

The park has been reopened and residents in Linden Gardens who were moved have been allowed to return to their homes.
