Family escape injury in Tobermore pipe bomb attack

The device exploded shortly after 01:00 GMT

Two adults and three children have escaped injury after a pipe bomb exploded at a house in Tobermore, County Londonderry.

The device exploded shortly before 01:00 GMT on Tuesday at the property in Castle Park.

Police said a number of windows at the rear of the house were damaged.

A house in Calmore Park, directly behind Castle Park, was also damaged in the incident.
