Man charged over damage to war memorial

An 18-year-old man has been charged with damaging a war memorial at Killowen Orange hall in Coleraine.

The memorial stone at the building at Shuttle Hill was smashed and wreaths damaged on Friday evening.

The man will appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday.

Two women, aged 19 and 20, and a boy were arrested as part of the investigation. They have since been released.
