Crumlin hijackers threaten teenagers with knife

Two teenagers have been threatened at knifepoint during a hijacking in County Antrim on Tuesday night.

An 18-year-old man driver and an 18-year-old woman were forced from the red Volkswagen Golf by two men on Mill Road, Crumlin, at about 22:35 BST.

It's believed the hijackers travelled to the area in a green Ford Focus driven by a third man.

It later collided with a white Seat at Flush Bend in north Belfast at about 22:55 BST.

The driver of the green Ford fled the scene on foot.

The driver of the Seat was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries not thought to be serious.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the hijacking or collision or who has any information.
