Foxglove Street, Belfast, hate crime: Teenagers released

Two teenagers arrested after an attack on a house in east Belfast on Friday night have been released pending further enquiries.

Shortly before 23:00 BST, it was reported that the front window of a house in Foxglove Street, off the Beersbridge Road, had been smashed.

No-one was in the house at the time of the attack. Police said they were treating it as a hate crime.

The two boys, aged 15 and 18, were arrested in east Belfast on Saturday.

They were being questioned on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon.
