Sinn Féin has said a dispute between the party and a former senior official has been resolved.
In February, former IRA hunger striker Leo Green confirmed he was no longer serving as the party's northern political director.
Later the Irish News reported that Mr Green was taking an employment tribunal case against the party.
There had been speculation that Mr Green's differences with Sinn Féin concerned the welfare reform issue.
However, in February, Mr Green who has acted as an adviser to Sinn Féin Stormont ministers, told the BBC he was not at odds with his party over policy matters.
On Wednesday, a Sinn Féin spokesperson said: "The issues between Leo Green and Sinn Féin have been resolved amicably, on terms which are confidential to both parties.
"This matter is now concluded."
