Woodvale, Belfast: Two charged over attack on house

Two people have been charged in connection with an attack on a house in north Belfast which police are treating as a hate crime.

Windows at the front of the house at Broom Street in the Woodvale area were smashed at about 20:40 BST on Monday.

A man and woman, who are originally from Hungary, were in the house at the time. They were not injured.

A 50-year-old woman and 34-year-old man have been charged with a number of offences including criminal damage.

They are expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
