Man stabbed during north Belfast street robbery

A man has been stabbed during a robbery in north Belfast.

The 35-year-old was approached by two men at Brookhill Avenue off the Cliftonville Road at about 04:20 BST on Thursday.

He suffered stab wounds to his arm and thigh and had his wallet stolen.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
