'Hate crime attack' on two houses in south Belfast

Two houses in south Belfast have been damaged in what police are treating as a hate crime.

Graffiti was painted on the walls and windows smashed at the properties on Walmer Street.

The attacks were reported to police shortly after 09:20 BST on Wednesday morning, but details have only just been released.
