Derry petrol bomb: Driver escapes injury

A woman has escaped injury when a petrol bomb was thrown at the car she was driving in Londonderry.

The attack took place shortly after 21:00 BST on Friday, as she was driving along the Glengalliagh Road in the city.

Insp Sam Shearer said although the driver was not hurt, and her car was not damaged, the woman was "left badly shaken".

He appealed to anyone with information about the attack to contact police.
