Members of the Public and Commercial Services union are staging a 24-hour walkout on Wednesday.

The action is part of a long-running dispute over job losses, pay cuts and pension increases.

The union has about 2,000 members in Northern Ireland, mostly employed by HM Revenue and Customs and the passport office.

The union staged similar strike action in August of this year.
