West Belfast shooting: Man injured in Turf Lodge attack

A man has been shot in the leg by masked men in Turf Lodge in west Belfast.

The attack happened at Downfine Walk around 21:00 BST on Wednesday. Police believe that a shotgun may have been used in the attack.

One of the masked men ran towards a nearby youth club while the others left in a dark-coloured saloon-type car.

The victim, who is in his 20s, is being treated in hospital for injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
