West Belfast shooting: Victim in 'critical condition'
Police are investigating a shooting in west Belfast which has left the victim in a "critical" condition.
The 28-year-old man was attacked in lower Falls at 17:10 BST on Friday, in an entry between Divis Street and Clonfaddan Crescent.
He is being treated for injuries to his thigh and stomach. Belfast Trust has described his condition as critical.
Sinn Féin MLA Fra McCann told the BBC it was his understanding a "serious fight" had taken place earlier.
A number of hours later, in the aftermath of the alleged fight, residents told Mr McCann a man had been shot.
