Woman assaulted in Ravenhill Road, Belfast, robbery

A woman in her 50s has been injured during a robbery in east Belfast.

It happened on the Ravenhill Road at about 22:20 GMT on Tuesday. The woman was approached from behind and hit on the back of the head.

She was knocked to the ground and had her wallet, credit cards and house keys stolen.

The woman had to receive hospital treatment for her injuries and was left badly shaken by the attack. Police have appealed for witnesses.
