Talks involving the British and Irish governments and the five executive parties are continuing on Wednesday.

The discussions will revolve around the past, while on Thursday, the parties will discuss financial matters.

The talks that began last month are focusing on issues including flags, parades and the past, as well as welfare reform.

On Sunday, Secretary of State Theresa Villiers said the talks would be intensified this week.

She said the talks were going well and she felt optimistic that progress could be made.
